DETERMINING OF THE MUDDYNESS OF RESERVOIR WATERS THROUGH MEASURING THE SPECTRAL COEFFICENT OF REFLECTION (SCR)

Summary

This paper presents investigations on changes of the spectral coefficient of reflection (SCR) of water in some bulgarian dams with different hydrologic regime and contents of floating dregs.

The ground spectrometric work was done with the specialy made in CLKI- BAN spectrometer ISOH-20 in 20 intervals (402-802 hm) of the visible and the near infra-red range of the electromagnetic spectre.

It was established that the SCR of the water is higher when the muddyness is higher. On the bagses of the respective corelations, optimally informative spectral intervals necessary for quantitative and qualitative analyse of aerocosmic data, could be chosen.
