MORPHODYNAMIC CLASSIFICATION OF THE ELEMENTARY VALLEY SYSTEMS WITH REGARD TO THE ANTIEROSIONAL REINFORCEMENT

Summary

Alter an investigation of a number of elementary catchments in the Balkan Mountains and the Bulgarian Midlands has offered a morphodynamic classification of them. It is based on the stage of the development of them and the up-to- day morphodynamic style reflected on their shape. In this way it has separated four base types of elementary catchments — developed, developing, undeveloped and embrional one. Further they have divided into three subtypes — expansive, reductive and stable one. The second of them has not been met with the developing subtype and the first — with the indeveloped one.

In this form the classification is appropriated mostly to the geomorphological researches with regard to the antierosional designs. Also there is a possibility to be applied to another problems which require detail geomorphological maps and field information.
