MONTHLY AND SEASONAL FLUCTUATIONS OF THE RIVER FLOW BETWEEN TIMOR AND ROUSSENSKI LOM

The author analysed the monthly and seasonal coefficients of variation within the area between the river of Timok and the river of Russensky Lom, as well as the extent of their dependence on the natural factors. The biggest variations of the flow are characteristic of the months of September and October, while the lowest — for the months of March, April and May. As for the seasonal flow, the autumn flow shows the biggest variations and the spring flow — the lowest variation. The correlations between the average latitude of the river basins and the coefficients of variation for months of March, April and May as well as between the average latitude and the C_ϑ of the spring and winter flow the author established the correlation between C_ϑ of the precipitation and the C_ϑ of the flow for the spring and the winter seasons, as well as the correlation of the different seasons.
