Summary

The implementation of computers in the education is a national strategy. This concerns not only the administrative and management activities but the teaching process as well. The most important problems at the present stage in the teaching and the ways of overcoming them are examined in this article. Greatest attention is paid to didactic and methodological requirements in forming the teaching programs. Despite of the existing difficulties, the electronization is an effective means of optimization of the teaching process in geography.
