Summary

The relief of Khammouane province in Laos is characterized by very expressed zonality and a general similarity of their orographic and the hydrographic plans. Three types of morphostructures have been formed there (dome-like mountains, plateaus and plains). The modelled plane surface is shown regular similarities and differences in relation to conservation in the present relief. The river terrace complex shows a rich variety in the separate parts of the province.

The topic karstic complex was differentiated the landform formation.

A final stage of the geomorphologic research was the composition of the geomorphologic map in 1:250 000 scale. All the information concerning the development of present relief it synthesizes. The determination of the regularities in the development of is relief. The base principle of the map composition. In this connection it presents the morphology and morphogenesis of the relief expressed on the map by marks and strokes.
